Your Project Quote

The quote I have provided you is based on the estimated time I have projected your project to take. Your quote includes your rights to the following:

  • Photo-realistic renderings of at least 3 views of your 3D model, submitted to you for model approval.
  • .stl file(s) for 3D printing your approved 3D model.
  • .3dm file(s) for your 3D model (this is the native file type exported from Rhino, the modeling software used.) If there are additional 3D file types you require, just let me know in advance and I will provide them if my software allows.
  • Your rights to the ownership of your 3D model. This is my guarantee that I will not share or sell your 3D model file to anyone else.

You may request to make minor changes to your 3D model file, upon review of the initial renderings and I will do my best to accommodate them. For major changes/re-design requests, you will be additionally billed at a $65/hour rate.

Payment and Billing

To begin a project, I require at 50% deposit, based on the flat-rate quote I provided to you. The balance is due upon approval of your 3D model. Once the balance is received I will pass the 3D files to you.

I accept the following forms of payment (USD currency):

  • Paypal- use email address lizzhill@gmail.com
  • Venmo- username is @Lizz-Wiker or lizzhill@gmail.com
  • Check- please make checks payable to Elizabeth Wiker
  • Bank Wire Transfer- please let me know if you plan to submit payment via bank wire transfer and I will provide my bank information. Please be advised that there is an additional 12.5% plus $15 (USD) fee per transaction if you use this payment method.

Additional Information

PROJECT TIMELINE- I require at least 3-5 business days (after receiving your deposit) to turn around your renderings for review/approval. I will communicate my expected timing to you upon your acceptance of my project quote.

SIZING- Some items, such as rings, often require multiple sizes. If your project needs to include multiple sizes, please alert me so I can be sure to include this in my project quote.

ORDERING THROUGH SHAPEWAYS- If you plan to manufacture your project through Shapways, please consider the following:

  • Manufacturing Tolerances- Different 3D printing materials/finishes have different manufacturing requirements/tolerances. Please be sure to let me know which materials/finishes you plan to order your model in so I can ensure it will pass Shapeways automatic and manual checks.
  • Multiple Parts- Most materials/finishes offered by Shapways only allow the customer to 3D print ONE PART per file and doesn't allow for interlocking parts (however there are some exceptions.) If your project requires multiple or interlocking parts please let me know so I can offer advise on how to achieve this.
  • File Format for 3D Printing- Once I've completed your project and submitted your final, approved 3D files, you will need to upload the .stl files into the Shapeways interface for 3D printing. Do NOT upload your .3dm (or other) files types, as they may not be acceptable for 3D printing.
